OK so you are surfing the web, trying to find music and movie download resources, you will find a lot of so called music and movie download sites. These sites do not provide you with music, or movies to download, no, they offer you file sharing soft ware you can use to find, and download music, movies and games. Most of them also provide you with cd burning soft ware and they have a help desk for those members who run in to problems with their downloading.
First of all there is the entertainment industry that wants to shut them down. They claim that these file sharing programs are used to download copy right protected materials.
This is true of course, but lots of people download and trade files legally on file-sharing networks. Without a doubt the software is available for free on the web, but for an Internet novice it may be a daunting task to consider this sort of soft ware, to decide which soft ware to use, using it. In addition to that they have to make certain that they do not download spy ware, ad ware or what ever. Joining a download site and have all the info in one place is not a bad option for many of them. Another advantage is the fact these download websites provide a help desk for their members.
You can NOT download certain movies because the artistic work belongs exclusively to the creator, and no one other than the creator has the legal right to authorize a download of the artistic work, provided that the work has not yet passed beyond the time limit of its copyrights.
